(230804) -- JILIN CITY, Aug. 4, 2023 (Xinhua) -- Relocated people arrange their room at a resettlement site in a middle school in Shulan, northeast China's Jilin Province, Aug. 4, 2023. Some areas of Shulan City in Jilin Province suffered from flood caused by heavy rainfall. Local authorities have set up 21 resettlement sites and relocated about 12,550 residents. More than 980 rescuers comprised of militia members, firefighters, police officers, medical workers, and power and communication technicians are carrying out rescue work in flood-affected areas of Shulan.
