Tenerife Wildfire Forces Thousands to Evacuate

The situation of the forest fire that started on the night of August 15 in the mountain of Arafo, on the island of Tenerife, has become more complicated in the northern area of during the last hours due to the worsening of weather conditions, so that the management of the Plan Infoca Emergencies has been forced to order new evacuations in nuclei of La Orotava, La Matanza, La Victoria de Acentejo, with others planned in El Sauzal, Santa Ursula and Tacoronte.
