Festival of La Tomatina - Valencia

Hundreds of people during the festival of La Tomatina, on August 30, 2023, in Buñol, Valencia, Valencian Community (Spain). La Tomatina has been celebrated for 76 years in Buñol on the last Wednesday of August. The company Citromed from La Llosa (Castellón), which has been preparing the tomato for 20 years, has organized this year 150,00 kilos of pear and ripe tomatoes that are used as ammunition in this festival. The tons of tomatoes cover floors, walls and clothes of all the people who attend this celebration, which attracts both national and international tourism.
