The Mathare Valley, located in Nairobi, is the second largest urban slum in Kenya after Kibera. Dream Building Service Association (DBSA) is a non-governmental organization founded in 2014. The organization has been continuing and promoting charity work in Mathare area. Thanks to the efforts made in the past years, several schools in Mathare have been renovated. Many poor children have free meals for lunch and have a chance to receive scholarships. Dream Building Service Association (DBSA) built its own school in 2016 in Mathare. Ahead of the World Book Day which falls on April 23, the school received a batch of books.
