Torrential Rain Causes Major Flooding - Spain

The Provincial Council of Cuenca has asked the Government of Spain to declare the municipality of Buenache de Alarcón as an area seriously affected by a civil protection emergency due to the floods caused last Saturday by the passage of the DANA, which caused serious damage to homes, businesses, infrastructure and services in the municipality of Cuenca. The City Council of Buenache de Alarcón, on behalf of all its neighbors, have appealed for huge help, both to the relevant public agencies, and to anyone who can volunteer to help with the ravages caused by the DANA in Buenache de Alarcón.
