Gret Egret

The great egret (Ardea alba), is a large, widely distributed egret. Recently it is also spreading to more northern areas of Europe. Distributed across most of the tropical and warmer temperate regions of the world, it builds tree nests in colonies close to water. In North America, large numbers of great egrets were killed toward the end of the 19th century so that their plumes, known as ''aigrettes'', could be used to decorate hats.                     The pronghorn (Antilocapra americana) is a species of artiodactyl (even-toed, hoofed) mammal indigenous to interior western and central North America. Though not an antelope, it is known colloquially in North America as the American antelope, prong buck, pronghorn antelope and prairie antelope, because it closely resembles the antelopes of the Old World. It is the only surviving member of the family Antilocapridae. The pronghorn is the fastest land mammal in the Western Hemisphere, with running speeds of up to 88.5 km/h (55 mph).
