Egypt's foreign reserves consist of a basket of major international currencies, including the U.S. dollar, the euro, the pound sterling, the Japanese yen, and the Chinese yuan. The Egyptian government seeks to collect 1.5 billion dollars in external financing before the end of 2023, Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait stated on Thursday. The financing plan includes issuing 1 billion worth of yen and yuan bonds, Maait added. Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Cairo. (XHTV)
