Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on Tuesday discussed ways of facilitating customs clearance procedures for commodities at various Egyptian ports with ministers. Madbouly indicated that the government is in an effort to reach the goal of transforming various Egyptian ports into global ones, with the aim of increasing trade movement. The meeting referred that during the period from Jan. 1 to Sept. 30, the total value of the goods released amounted to 53.7 billion U.S. dollars.
