Vinicius Jr Testifies From On Racist Insults Received - Madrid
The soccer player Vinicius Jr. goes to testify for the racist insults received at Mestalla, in the Courts of Plaza de Castilla, on October 5, 2023, in Madrid (Spain). The footballer testifies by videoconference, as a victim, after the racist insults he received last May 21 at the Mestalla stadium. Vinicius responds today to the questions posed by the head of the Court of Instruction number 10 of Valencia, which investigates this case, as well as those of the other parties involved, including LaLiga, the Royal Spanish Football Federation and Real Madrid, as prosecutors, and those of the defenses of the three young defendants. During the League match played last May 21 between Valencia and Real Madrid at Mestalla, Vinicius reported having suffered racist insults by some fans who were behind the goal and that meant that the match was stopped for several minutes for this reason.
