Lviv mayor, Japanese architect call for support for building hospital

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi and Japanese architect Shigeru Ban hold a press conference at the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan in Tokyo on Sept. 5, 2023. They called for Japan's support in building a new surgical ward designed by the architect at a hospital in Ukraine's western city of Lviv, which harbors many fleeing and injured civilians from the war-torn areas within the country.
