New sightseeing train in northeastern Japan

East Japan Railway Co.'s new sightseeing train Hinabi is unveiled to the media at JR Morioka Station in Morioka in Iwate Prefecture, northeastern Japan, on Oct. 11, 2023. It will make its debut as a special train on Dec. 23, with specific routes and schedules for its later services to be announced in the near future.

Baseball: Ohtani donates gloves to Japanese schools
