Afghanistan Suffers Yet Another Earthquake

An Afghan group carries a tent in the aftermath of the 6.3 magnitude earthquake that struck Afghanistan's western province of Herat. They intend to build a place for people who have lost their homes. Herat, Afghanistan, October 10, 2023. The latest, 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck areas northeast of Herat city Sunday morning local time. According to the UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), as of Monday evening local time, two people were reported to have been killed and over 150 injured in the latest quake.
