Former US Embassy Turned Museum - Tehran
A view of an anti-American mural outside the U.S. Den of Espionage Museum, formerly the embassy of the United States, was seen in Tehran, Iran, on November 3, 2023. This site includes the embassy office, working places of diplomats, archive room, destruction room, and communication and encryption-decryption rooms located in the main building. The U.S. Embassy in Tehran was occupied on November 4, 1979, following the revolution led by Ayatollah Khomeini in Iran. Today, the building serves as a museum.
