Restoration Work At Notre-Dame de Paris
Work at the Cathedral Notre-Dame de Paris for the restoration of the spire, in Paris, France, on November 22, 2023. Carpenters remain on site to continue constructing the spire’s framework in the heart of Notre-Dame. The solid oak frame measures nearly 70 meters tall, and the spire will culminate 96 meters above the transept crossing. This spire is being reconstructed to be identical to the original one, as after the fire of April 15, 2019, Notre-Dame is set to be reopened at the end of 2024.
