Popocatépetl And Iztaccíhuatl Volcanoes In Mexico Dawn With Snow

The Iztaaccihuatl Volcano (left) and Popocatepetl Volcano (right) in Mexico are covered in snow during sunrise, as seen from Mexico City. This is due to the influx of moisture from the subtropical jet stream, which is increasing the likelihood of sleet and/or snow on mountain peaks higher than 4,200 meters above sea level, including these volcanoes and the Nevado de Toluca, according to the National Meteorological Service's forecast.
