Meeting About The Situation St Marteen And St Barts - Press Conference
French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, flanked by his ministers, Nicolas Hulot (L) and Gérard Collomb (R) speaks during a press conference at the Hotel Matignon in Paris on September 11, 2017 following a meeting to discuss the situation of French overseas islands Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthelemy devastated by hurricane Irma. French aid includes helicopters, engineering equipment, medical supplies and a million litres of water, as the three water-treatment plants on the island will be knocked out for months. The French defence ministry also announced that a military ship, to leave France on September 12, 2017, would carry an additional four helicopters, 1,000 tons of supplies and be used as a "floating hospital".
