Protest In Toulouse In Support Of Palestine

Following the resumption of fighting in the Gaza Strip, hundreds of people are demonstrating in support of Gazans, the Gaza Strip, and more generally for Palestine. Since the conflict between Hamas and Israel on October 7th, Israel has imposed a complete blockade on the Gaza Strip, restricting access to water, food, electricity, fuel, medicines, and at times, communication with the outside world. The U.N. estimates that up to 1.8 million people in the Gaza Strip, or nearly 80% of the population, have been forced to flee due to Israel's devastating bombing campaign. Despite Israel targeting hospitals, UN shelters, UN schools, ambulances, and press buildings, the global North continues to support Israel without question, while the global South is calling for an immediate and lasting ceasefire.
