On the eve of the feast of Santa Lucia in the small village of Casarabonela, every night of December 12, 2023, during the Christmas season, the locals participate in the ancestral celebration of Los Rondeles, carrying lighted wicker baskets (also known as Rondeles), soaked in oil.
