Overnight temperatures dropped to minus 46.2 degrees Celsius in Tes soum, an administrative subdivision of the western Mongolian province of Zavkhan, from Thursday to Friday, marking the coldest temperature in Mongolia this winter, NEMHEM said in a statement. Meanwhile, the overnight temperature was colder than minus 21 degrees Celsius in the rest of the country on Thursday night, it said.
