Shen Xiaofen returned to her hometown after graduating from college in 2018, while her sister Shen Yanfen quit her job in Shenzhen and came back to work in agricultural machinery business in 2020. The sisters are now in charge of the agricultural machinery professional cooperative which was set up by their father. In the past three years, the cooperative has provided services of rice production, cultivation, management and harvest, revitalized and utilized 3,000 mu (200 hectares) of idle fields, and helped the villagers in four surrounding villages to increase their income by more than 1.2 million yuan (about 168,133 U.S. dollars) per year.
