Baseball: Ohtani donates gloves to Japanese schools

OSHU, Japan Kyodo - Video taken on Dec. 22, 2023, shows a baseball glove that Shohei Ohtani donated to his alma mater Anetai Elementary School in Oshu in the northeastern Japan prefecture of Iwate, with a message reading "Let's play baseball!." The two-way baseball star is donating three gloves to each of Japan's 20,000 elementary schools and deliveries are expected to be completed by next March. (Kyodo)
