AnadoluJet Boeing 737MAX At Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport

AnadoluJet Boeing 737MAX at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport SAW LTFJ in the Asian part of Istanbul, the largest city in Turkey. The Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft has the registration 9H-DRA and is powered by 2x CFMI jet engines. The 737MAX is easy recognizable by its wingtips and the chevrons at the rear of the engine for noise reduction. Boeing asked the airlines to inspect the type for potential loose bolt, so Boeing issued an inspection guidance to airlines after an operator found a bolt with a missing nut during routine maintenance. AnadoluJet is a Turkish low-cost regional airline with domestic and international flights, a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines. AnadoluJet will soon be rebranded as AJet with a fleet of 79 airplanes. The airport is a hub for Anadolu Jet and Pegasus Airlines while the second runway was inaugurated on 25 December 2023 to double the capacity of the airport.
