Iranian-Armenians Observed Christmas Mass Prayer Ceremony

Iranian-Armenian clergymen are praying at the St. Vartan Armenian Church in central Tehran on January 6, 2024, as one of them is carrying a religious symbol while participating in a Christmas mass prayer ceremony. The Armenian Church has a reason for declaring January 6th as Christmas. Armenia was the first country to adopt Christianity as its official religion, declaring it in 301 AD. The celebration of the birth of Christ and his baptism, which took place 33 years after his birth and on the same day, is being celebrated on January 6th. (Photo by Morteza Nikoubazl/NurPhoto)
