(EDITOR'S NOTE: Image depicts death) Mother Nadia is reacting next to a coffin with the body of her son, Ukrainian poet and serviceman Maxym Kryvtsov, who was killed fighting against Russian troops, during a farewell ceremony on Independence Square in Kyiv, Ukraine, on January 11, 2024, amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Hundreds of Ukrainians are coming to honor the memory of the fallen Ukrainian poet and soldier Maxym Kryvtsov (33), call sign ''Dali'', and to say goodbye to him. Maksym became the author of the book ''Poems from the loophole'', recognized as one of the best Ukrainian books of 2023. He participated in the Revolution of Dignity, and then went to the front as a volunteer in 2014. Maxym fought as part of the 5th battalion of the Ukrainian Volunteer Corps ''Right Sector'' and together with the ''Da Vinci Wolves''.
