Polo Bawa Fishing Festival - Bangladesh
Rural people armed with Bamboo fish traps and handmade fishing net to take parts to celebrating in a 100 years winter polo bawa fishing festival at the Gowahori beel of Biswanath upazila of Sylhet, Bangladesh. Locals said the festival is celebrated every year at the 1st day of the Bangla month of Poush and apart from the locals, people from different parts of the Upazila gather at the beel with different kinds of fishing traps to partake in it.
