Traffic along Hostomel Bridge partially restored

HOSTOMEL, UKRAINE - JANUARY 17, 2024 - Repair works are ongoing on the Hostome Bridge that was ruined by the Ukrainian military which helped to stop the advance and destroy a large column of Russian armoured vehicles trying to reach the Ukrainian capital during the Battle of Kyiv in February 2022, Hostomel, Kyiv Region, northern Ukraine. Traffic has been partially resumed along the 134m-long bridge across the Irpin River on the outskirts of Hostomel which connects Bucha and Kyiv.
