Protest Of Free Poles In Warsaw

PiS President Jaroslaw Kaczynski, along with Mateusz Morawiecki, Mariusz Blaszczak, and Rafal Bochenek, are participating in the Free Poles Protest organized by Law and Justice in front of the Polish Parliament in Warsaw, Poland, on January 11, 2024. The protest comes as a response to the new coalition government's changes in public media, which have sparked demonstrations by PiS supporters. Following personnel changes and the president's veto on a budget-related bill, PiS party politicians have occupied the headquarters of the public television, leading to TVP being put into liquidation. The PiS party has organized the March of Free Poles in solidarity with Mariusz Kaminski and Maciej Wasik, who were detained by the police. The march began in front of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland and proceeded to the Chancellery of Prime Minister Donald Tusk. (Photo by Klaudia Radecka/NurPhoto)
