During the festival, over 130 plays will be performed in different sections, including Stage Theater Competition, National Theater, Alternative Performances and Street Theater Competition, according to the festival's website. The street theaters will be staged in seven outdoor areas across Tehran and the stage theaters in 14 different halls during the festival. In addition, a total of 14 radio dramas and television plays were performed or screened ahead of the official start of the festival. The festival will run through Jan. 31.
