Town Hall in Tallinn

30.01.2024, Tallinn. Tallinn Town Hall is the oldest city hall in North-Europe. In 2022, Tallinn Town Hall celebrated the 700th anniversary of its first mention in 1322. The story of the building dates back to the 13th century and it was completed, in its current form, in 1404. The magnificent Gothic arches, the unique wood carvings, tapestry, and paintings reflect the wealth and ideals of the former Hanseatic town. A gargoyle in the form of a dragon head made in 1627.
