Tehran 2024, 45-Year After The Victory Of Iran's Islamic Revolution
A massive anti-U.S. mural is being displayed in downtown Tehran, Iran, on February 1, 2024, commemorating 45 years since the victory of Iran's Islamic Revolution. In February 1979, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the king of Iran, left the country, and Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini returned from France. This event marked the beginning of the ''Ten Days of Dawn,'' leading to the Islamic Revolution's victory. The departure of Pahlavi, the last king of Iran, officially ended the country's historic monarchy. (Photo by Morteza Nikoubazl/NurPhoto)
