A powerful atmospheric river storm continued to hit California on Monday, February 5, causing widespread damage.
The storm brought heavy downpours, destructive mudslides, and violent winds that knocked down trees and power lines. 4 were killed by fallen trees in Northern California, 2 others from car wrecks in Southern California. 3 other deaths were reported raising the death toll across the state to 9, as of recent local reports on February 7.
