Nepalese Hindu devotees are offering ritual prayers during the Madhav Narayan Festival, also known as the Swasthani Brata Katha festival, at the Hanumante River in Bhaktapur, Nepal. The festival is dedicated to God Madhav Narayan and Goddess Swasthani, where Hindu devotees are recreating and reciting folk tales about miraculous feats performed by them.
