Drone inspects train rails

An autonomously operated drone (upper R) inspects train rails of Kobe Electric Railway Co. on a trial basis in Ono in Hyogo Prefecture, western Japan, on Feb. 15, 2024. The test was conducted in preparation for possible damage to rails in the event of a natural disaster when a shortage of manpower in charge of railway checks is expected.
