China: Man Has Noodle Pitstop While Stranded On Hunan Highway Due To Snowstorm

A man in Hunan resorted to having a "noodle pitstop" while being stranded on a highway during a major snowstorm on January 22. Seemingly hungry from hours of waiting, the man cooked instant noodles by the roadside using a makeshift gas stove. Many were stranded for as long as 7 hours on the highway, including the filmer of the video, Mr. Zhao, who said his trip from Hangzhou to Guizhou was hit by heavy snow when he reached Changsha in Hunan. He arrived at the location in the video at half-past two in the morning and his journey resumed only at nine-thirty in the morning, he said.
