Yellow Traffic Light Is Activated Due To Heat Wave And Phase 1 Of Atmospheric Environmental Contingency Due To Ozone In Mexico C

People are standing on Cerro de la Estrella in Mexico City, observing a significant haze amid the Yellow Traffic Light due to a heat wave and Phase 1 of the Atmospheric Environmental Contingency for ozone, as announced by the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe). Despite recent high ozone concentrations, the pollution haze remains clearly visible from elevated areas in the Valley of Mexico.
