Firefighters on a crane clean up the burned facade on February 26, 2024, in Valencia, Valencia (Spain). A large fire destroyed a 14-story building in the Campanar district of Valencia on February 22. The fire, which originated on the fourth floor of the building, generated a large column of flames and a dense smoke that affected several floors of the building. The building, with 138 apartments, was home to some 450 people. Ten people were killed in the fire. The causes of the catastrophe are currently under investigation.
