The Rotterdam Rijnhaven is being made shallower by boskalis with dredging work for new homes and a beach. The port is on the eve of a major transformation. From 2025, approximately 2,000 to 2,500 new homes and a city park including a beach will be built here. Eight hectares of new land is now being created for this purpose.
