Catalan Farmers Block The AP-7 In Girona

Food of Moroccan origin thrown on the road by farmers, the day they have cut the AP-7 at the height of Pontós, February 27, 2024, in Pontós, Girona, Catalonia (Spain). Catalan farmers have cut today in the early morning the AP-7 roads between Borrassà and Vilademuls and the N-II between Bàscara and Vilamalla (Girona) for protests called by Unió de Pagesos (UP). UP has called tractoradas today and tomorrow, Wednesday at various accesses to the border with France, in the province of Girona, and from Tuesday until Thursday on different roads in Lleida. Farmers are demonstrating against "unfair competition from imports that do not meet the same conditions required for agricultural products" of the European Union (EU) and want a reduction in bureaucracy.
