(240229) -- ATHENS, Feb. 29, 2024 (Xinhua) -- A protestor throws Molotov cocktails during a demonstration to mark the first anniversary of the country's deadliest-ever train crash in Athens, Greece, Feb. 28, 2024. Greece was hit by a 24-hour nationwide strike on Wednesday, paralyzing public services including transport and hospitals. The trade union-led strikes were called to protest low salaries amid high living costs. In central Athens, around 20,000 protestors marched on Wednesday to mark the first anniversary of the country's deadliest-ever train crash, which happened one year ago in the valley of Tempi.
