Multiple vehicles collided on the Trans-Canada Highway near Calgary on Thursday, February 29, as a winter storm brought heavy snow and cold temperatures to Alberta, causing whiteout conditions in some places. Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for Calgary and surrounding areas.
