        A man in Hunan resorted to having a "noodle pitstop" while being stranded on a highway during a major snowstorm on January 22. Seemingly hungry from hours of waiting, the man cooked instant noodles by the roadside using a makeshift gas stove. Many were stranded for as long as 7 hours on the highway, including the filmer of the video, Mr. Zhao, who said his trip from Hangzhou to Guizhou was hit by heavy snow when he reached Changsha in Hunan.             In a video recorded on February 4, 2024, in Jinzhai, Lu’An, Anhui, heavy snowfall caused a massive traffic jam on the highway, leaving many drivers stranded for over a day without food. During this challenging time, kind-hearted local villagers climbed up the snowy slope to reach the stranded drivers, bringing them hot water and instant noodles to provide warmth and sustenance. Their selfless generosity brought relief and comfort to those stuck on the road. The video owner mentioned that one of the Samaritans said his son and daughter-in-law would come back for the Chinese New Year, and he didn’t know if they could under these difficult conditions. He should have felt the same so he also helped those stuck on the highway rush home for the holiday.
