The pilot managed to eject before the crash, which occurred during the aircraft's landing, and was subsequently taken to the hospital for medical treatment, NTV said. Vahdettin Ozkan, the governor of Konya, told the broadcaster that the NF-5 training aircraft crashed in the air base.
