US: Extinction Rebellion Disrupts NYC Broadway Performance Of “An Enemy Of The People”
On Thursday, March 14, Extinction Rebellion, a climate activist group, disrupted the Broadway performance of 'An Enemy Of The People' at the Circle in the Square Theatre in Midtown, NYC, bringing the show to a brief halt.
The play, starring Jeremy Strong and Michael Imperioli, was interrupted by protesters who shouted, "No theater on a dead planet." The activists were escorted out of the building by NYPD but were not charged.
