Public Sector Workers Demonstrate - Paris
Demonstration of civil services as part of a nationwide call by labour unions (CFDT, CFE-CGC, CGT, FA, FO, FSU, Solidaires and UNSA) for better wages, in Paris, France, on March 19, 2024. Teachers and staff of National Education (nursery, primary, middle and high schools) joined the major day of national strike in the civil service. The civil service unions are calling on the 5.7 million French public employees to demonstrate, four months ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, during which the CGT and FO unions have already promised to file strike notices.
