King Willem-Alexander Visits Operation Interflex - UK
King Willem-Alexander visits Operation Interflex in the United Kingdom on March 20, 2024. Operation Interflex is a training program to train Ukrainian recruits to become soldiers. Last week a new batch of two hundred soldiers started. The training location is in the north of England. The Netherlands has been contributing to this training program since September 2022. About 34,500 Ukrainians have been trained until 2023. This year, another eight batches will be trained. Each batch has two hundred recruits. The training is provided by a unit of the Royal Netherlands Army and consists of marksmanship exercises, operations in cities and trenches, medical care and the laws of war.
