Türkiye has been taking "all necessary measures" to boost security for the upcoming local election, a cabinet minister said on Monday.
A total of 594,000 personnel will be on duty for the March 31 polls that would welcome more than 61 million eligible voters, including 1 million first-time ones, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said at a press conference.
