The procession of the Holy Burial of Christ brings together all of the city's Holy Week brotherhoods and sisterhoods under the executive presidency of the Congregation of Our Lady of Solitude and the Cross. The procession has three steps that leave the Holy Cathedral Basilica: the Naked Cross of Jerusalem, the Recumbent Christ, which is accompanied by the Very Illustrious Chapter of Knights and Squires of the city of Cuenca, and Our Lady of Solitude and the Cross.
