UK: Over 200,000 People Join London Demonstration Calling For Gaza Ceasefire

Over 200,000 participants, according to estimates by organizers, joined a Pro-Palestine demonstration in London on Saturday, March 30. The massive demonstration, held on the anniversary of Palestinian Land Day, heard speeches by prominent people including Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and The Crown actor Khalid Abdalla and others. Aside from the call for immediate ceasefire, groups who attended the gathering were decrying the government's continued arms trade with Israel. Some arrests were made citing harassment, public order, and terror-related offences.
