The King emeritus, Don Juan Carlos de Borbón, leaves the parish of the Sacred Heart and San Francisco de Borja where he attended the marriage between José Luis Martínez-Almeida and Teresa Urquijo Moreno, on April 6, 2024, in Madrid (Spain). After a year and a half of courtship the mayor of Madrid, 48 years old, and Teresa Urquijo, 27 years old, get married in a media wedding with 500 guests. The ceremony is at 12 noon in the Church of San Francisco Borja, in the heart of the Salamanca district. Afterwards, the 500 guests will gather at the estate 'El canto de la cruz' owned by Teresa de Borbón-Dos Sicilias y Borbón-Parma, Teresa's maternal grandmother.
