US - ASTRONOMY - ECLIPSE
A partial solar eclipse moves across the sky in Brooklyn on April 8, 2024, in New York. The path of this year's totality is 115 miles (185 kilometers) wide and home to nearly 32 million Americans, with another 150 million living within 200 miles of the swath. The next total solar eclipse that will be visible from much of North America will not arrive until 2044. (Photo by Deccio Serrano/NurPhoto)
